Slater y Fanning pierden en Portugal
La primera ronda del Rip Curl Pro Portugal ha comenzado con dos sorpresas sonadas. La primera que el 11 veces campeón del mundo ha perdido contra un chavalín de 16 años, Jacob Willcox. La segunda es que el máximo candidato al título mundial también ha perdido su manga en la que "el pescador" Matt Wilkinson ha conseguido la victoria.
Ahora tanto Slater como Fanning se la tendrán que jugar en segunda ronda en unas condiciones bastante complicadas en las que cualquier wildcard puede dar la campanada.
